In 2017, Tommy Carrano and his wife Gina were drinking coffee at the kitchen table of their farm in rural Ontario, New York, when federal agents, followed by dozens of ASPCA employees, came knocking.

In this episode, we hear the story of Tommy Carrano and also talk to the gamefowl show standards expert, the chicken-man’s chicken expert, Anthony Saville.

Anthony Saville’s brief to the court, detailing his observations from the ASPCA facilities holding Tommy’s chickens during trial. Of the roughly 120 chickens confiscated, Tommy reported about a quarter made it home to him at the end of his trial.
